Product Description
3M Urethane Foam Tape 4116 is a natural, single-coated, open-cell urethane foam tape with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive for cushioning, sealing, and vibration control. Its 1.6 mm (62 mil) firm, high-density foam absorbs vibration and dampens sound while allowing air and gas vapor to pass through. The structure traps moisture, dust, and drafts without creating a closed-cell barrier, and the adhesive provides high initial quick-stick on multiple substrates. Adhesion is typically satisfactory within 20 minutes and continues to build over time. This tape suits electronics cushioning, printers, keyboards, computers, aircraft lights, automotive dashboards, recessed lighting, and door, window, or cabinet seals.
