Product Description
3M VHB Tape 4905 is a clear, double-coated solid acrylic tape for permanent bonding where a low-visibility fastening method is preferred. The 0.5 mm construction uses general-purpose acrylic adhesive on both sides with a red printed PE film liner. It bonds on contact to provide immediate handling strength and is intended for high-surface-energy substrates including metals, glass, polycarbonate, and acrylic. The tape can replace rivets, welds, screws, or liquid adhesives in transparent assemblies, signage, decorative trim, nameplates, and panel attachments while keeping bonded surfaces smooth.
