Application

Aqueous Cleaning Process

Prepare a 10% CleanSafe 50E Plus wash solution and control the wash and DI-water rinse temperatures within the documented operating ranges. Select immersion, ultrasonic, or mild spray-under-immersion equipment according to the part, soil, substrate, and required cleanliness and surface-appearance endpoint.

Wash-bath concentration: Use a typical concentration of 10% in water.
Wash-bath temperature: Operate at 54–82°C (130–180°F).
DI-water rinse temperature: Operate at 60–82°C (140–180°F).

Cleaning Sequence

Stage 1
Prepare the wash bath
Prepare a 10% solution in water and heat the wash bath to 54–82°C (130–180°F). Confirm the bath concentration and equipment condition before processing.
Stage 2
Clean with the selected equipment
Process the part in an immersion tank, ultrasonic system, or mild spray-under-immersion cleaner using validated exposure and agitation settings.
Stage 3
Rinse and verify the part
Rinse with DI water at 60–82°C (140–180°F), then verify cleanliness, material compatibility, and the required metal-surface appearance.
Storage and Handling

Store CleanSafe 50E Plus in its original, sealed container above 50°F (10°C) and protect the product from freezing. The documented shelf life is 36 months under these conditions. Standard packages include 40 lb (19 kg) pails and 450 lb (205 kg) drums. Consult the current SDS for complete handling, storage, exposure-control, spill-response, and disposal requirements.
