DOWSIL 1-2620LV
Harmonization Code : 3403.19 | Lubricating Preparations (With 70% or More Petroleum Oils) For Automotive and Other Uses

Main features
- Low-Viscosity Narrow-Gap Coating
- Room-Temperature Moisture Cure
- UV-Aided Automated Inspection
Product Description
DOWSIL 1-2620 Low VOC Conformal Coating is a one-part, translucent, low-viscosity silicone resin solution for protecting rigid and flexible circuit boards. The 350 mPa s coating flows into narrow gaps and spaces and can be applied by spray, brush, flow, dip, or automated pattern coating. It cures with atmospheric moisture at room temperature to a firm, elastoplastic, abrasion-resistant surface; mild heat can reduce tack-free time after adequate solvent flash-off. A UV indicator supports automated inspection. The product is intended for PCB applications that require toughness and abrasion resistance.
Key features
- Low-viscosity gap coverage: The 350 mPa s coating flows into narrow gaps and spaces on PCB assemblies.
- Room-temperature moisture cure: The coating cures without an oven, with optional mild heat acceleration after solvent flash-off.
- UV-aided inspection: A UV indicator supports automated inspection of applied coating.
Applications / Suitable for
- Protective coating for rigid circuit boards
- Protective coating for flexible circuit boards
- PCB system applications requiring toughness and abrasion resistance
