Product Description
DOWSIL CC-2588 Conformal Coating applies as a one-part, transparent, medium-viscosity silicone resin coating for rigid and flexible circuit boards. The colorless-to-pale-yellow liquid has a typical Brookfield viscosity of 930 cP, 88% nonvolatile content and a five-minute tack-free time at 25 deg C and 50% relative humidity. After cure, it forms a firm, abrasion-resistant surface with Shore A 75 hardness, 22.3 kV/mm dielectric strength and 5.04 MPa tensile strength. Spray, brush, flow, dip and automated pattern coating are supported, with solvent flash-off and cure conditions controlled for the applied film thickness.
