Main features
- Equal-Volume Meter-Mix Processing
- Defined 20-Minute Working Window
- Flexible Thermal-Shock-Resistant Encapsulation
Product Description
CONATHANE EN-14 Two-Component Polyurethane Potting Compound is an unfilled, 100% solids polyurethane system for potting and encapsulating electrical and electronic assemblies. A 1:1 volumetric mix produces an initial mixed viscosity of 1,200 cP and a 20-minute work life at 25 deg C for controlled casting or meter-mix processing. Cure can proceed for 3 to 4 days at 25 deg C or 3 hours at 60 deg C. The cured material combines Shore A 65 hardness, 110% elongation, 0.2 W/(m K) thermal conductivity, and passes 10 thermal-shock cycles from -65 to 130 deg C.
Key features
- Controlled 1:1 Mixing: Equal-volume mixing supports bench, meter-mix, or vacuum potting processes.
- 20-Minute Working Window: The mixed material provides a defined work life at 25 deg C before gelation.
- Flexible Cured Encapsulation: Shore A 65 hardness and 110% elongation provide a flexible final material profile.
Applications / Suitable for
- Potting electrical assemblies
- Encapsulating electronic assemblies
