Main features
- Direct 100% Solids Mold Filling
- Tough High-Impact Prototypes
- Thermoplastic-Style Surface and Feel
Product Description
CONATHANE UC-54 Two-Component Casting Urethane is an unfilled, 100% solids two-component urethane for castings and prototype parts. The reactive liquid system forms tough, high-impact, dimensionally stable components with a thermoplastic-like feel and appearance. Its 100% solids formulation supports direct mold filling after the two components are combined, while the casting route provides a practical way to produce prototype and molded urethane shapes. UC-54 is suited to cast parts where impact response, dimensional stability, and a thermoplastic-style surface are important selection factors.
Key features
- 100% Solids Casting: The unfilled material is supplied as a 100% solids two-component casting system.
- Tough Prototype Parts: UC-54 is positioned for tough, high-impact castings and prototypes.
- Thermoplastic-Like Finish: The cured material provides a thermoplastic-style feel and appearance.
Applications / Suitable for
- Prototype urethane parts
- Tough, high-impact castings
- Castings requiring thermoplastic-like feel and appearance
