Product Description
EUREMELT 2888 Polyamide Hot Melt Adhesive is an amber polyamide thermoplastic hot melt adhesive supplied in pellet form for bonding plastics and porous substrates. stated substrate uses include PVC, ABS, polycarbonate, wood, and leather, with a filter-bonding context also identified. The adhesive has a softening point of 185 to 190 deg C and an application temperature range of 200 to 230 deg C. Typical melt viscosity is 4,000 to 6,000 cP at 220 deg C, and the setting time is 1 to 3 seconds under the stated test condition.
Key features
- Low melt viscosity: Typical viscosity is 4,000 to 6,000 cP at 220 deg C.
- One-to-three-second setting: The adhesive develops a rapid set under the documented test condition.
- Plastics and porous substrates: Supported bonding uses include PVC, ABS, polycarbonate, wood, and leather.
Applications
- Bonding PVC, ABS, and polycarbonate
