Product Description

ECCOSORB CR-117 is a two-part castable epoxy microwave absorber supplied as CR-117 Part A resin and ECCOSORB CR Part B catalyst. The CR-series technical data identifies CR-117 for a recommended 4-8 GHz range and a 100:3.2 Part A:Part B mix ratio by weight. Processing guidance recommends warming Part A and preferably the mold to about 65 deg C before blending, with vacuum degassing used when needed before casting. Documented uses include waveguide terminations, attenuators and loads, and localized RF-leakage potting.

Processing

Mix, degas and cast under the documented CR-series process window

Processing guidance recommends warming Part A and preferably the mold to about 65 deg C, then blending the two components. Entrapped air may be removed under vacuum when needed before casting.
