Product Description
LORD 7542D Urethane Adhesive is the 7542-A resin and 7542-D curative configuration of an equal-mix, two-component urethane adhesive for bonding FRP, SMC, other plastics, and primed metals. The system mixes 1:1 by volume and provides a typical 20 to 30 minute working time at 24 deg C, followed by handling strength in approximately 3 hours. A recommended 254 to 1016 um bondline supports controlled assembly, and full strength develops in 24 hours or less at 24 deg C. The cured adhesive has a typical tensile strength of 18.70 MPa and 70% elongation.
