Main features
- Anaerobic Cure on Passive Surfaces
- Fast-Evaporating Non-Halogenated Surface Conditioner
- Up to 30-Day Surface Activation
Product Description
Permabond® ASC10 Anaerobic Surface Conditioner is a rapid-drying accelerator formulated exclusively for use with anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It enables and accelerates the curing process on inactive or passive surfaces such as zinc plating, cadmium plating, stainless steel, gold, glass, and painted surfaces. Formulated with a non-halogenated, ozone-safe solvent, it simultaneously cleans contaminants from parts while leaving a thin deposit of initiator that remains active for up to 30 days before bonding.
Key features
- Enables cure on passive surfaces: Triggers and accelerates the cure of anaerobic adhesives on difficult, inactive substrates.
- Rapid drying and extended active life: Evaporates quickly while allowing treated parts to remain active for up to 30 days prior to assembly.
- Environmentally conscious formula: Contains no ozone-depleting agents and utilizes a non-halogenated solvent.
Applications / Suitable for
- Accelerating cure on inactive surfaces like stainless steel, zinc, cadmium, and glass
- Improving cure speed in low-temperature environments
- Enhancing the cure profile on poorly mated parts or wider gaps
